Secrets “They” Don’t Want You to Know in Network Marketing
In every profession there are always trade secrets. There are always things that people that use these “hacks” and “tricks” don’t want everyone to know. The same goes for network marketing and that is why many people find themselves upset and frustrated throughout their network marketing career.
How many times have we heard from the stage, “if I can do it then you can do it too”? Many of these individuals are legitimate and amazingly truthful people but on the other hand there are people in the profession that have been given contracts and deals. These people have not earned their position but have been given significant amounts of their volume or organization to sweeten the pot to come over to that organization.
People are often mislead by quick talking “salesmen” in the company and this confusion leads to outlandish rumors that are not even close to being truth. This is another reason that our profession has gotten bad a rep. Many people do not understand the fact that the truth is good enough. Telling about the amazing freedom of the lifestyle of a network marketer is amazing, the leverage you can build, the residual income that can be built and all of these amazing things are enough. There is no reason to embellish.
Now that the internet is becoming more common, more and more networkers are taking their networking efforts online. Many top leaders do not want their teams to know they work with leads or sales funnels because they are afraid they will not be able to duplicate. The truth is that this is the wave of the future and if we are not using the internet to build our business, we are going to be left behind. Don’t be surprised if your leader is using the internet while they continue to tell you to use face to face networking like prospecting in the malls.
