3 Simple Steps That Propel You Toward Your Goals!
Most of the time, we are totally confused about which direction we want to go. We may have some vague thoughts about where we want to go and what we want but if someone asked us to draw a picture of it, we probably couldn’t.
One of the things you can do to get on the right track toward our goals is to get very clear on them.
# 1 – Ask Yourself the Right Questions
When you want to get clear on your goals, you have to ask the right questions. Ask yourself the follow questions and see what you come up with:
- Is what I am doing right now moving me toward my goals?
- Does the way I am acting move me toward or away from my goals?
- Out of all of the things I am doing right now, is this the best thing that can move me toward my goals right now?
- Am I serious about these goals?
- Am I inspired to get to these goals?
# 2 – Start Doing Things That Take You Toward Your Goal
Many times we want to make things more complicated than they are but truthfully if you find that you are not doing the things that are taking you toward your goal, put those in your daily routine. You want to focus on the top things that are going to get you the most results.
No matter how small of an action you see that will help you move toward your goal, start working on that. You need to schedule this into your day so you make sure that you get it done.
#3 – Stop Doing Things That Don’t Take You Toward Your Goal
The things we are doing that are not taking us toward our goals are usually fillers. Those fillers are a form of procrastination for whatever reason. Maybe we are afraid of success. Maybe we are not used to doing the things that we are working toward and it makes us feel a little uncomfortable. Whatever the reason is that you are doing things that aren’t taking you toward your goals instead of doing things that take you in that direction, it doesn’t matter. Just stop doing the unneeded activity and start doing what takes you toward your goals.
